I need some people to help test and play a game I've created.

What is it?

The game is a browser based, multi-player, turn based strategy wargame. It's aimed at people who want to play games against other players but can't commit the time that something like World of Warcraft requires.

By turn based I mean, you log in and issue orders - move, attack and build. Turns are processed either once a day or once everyone has done their turn - which either occurs first. As this is a very simple game you'll initially only spend several minutes a turn, with this increasing as you expand and dominate the map.

Basically an old school slow paced strategy wargame.

Whats it like?

There are 10 players in this video of a game. I'm the yellow one and appear to be doing quite well until the closing stages of the game when I get monstered by a neighbor.



The screenshots which made up this video were taken after the game completed, at which time you're able to see the whole map. Normally fog of war applies and you can only see neighboring hexes.

You can't see much per turn detail in the above video so here is what a game can look like after it's progressed for a couple of weeks. Again I'm the yellow player and I'm being attacked by four other players; redlines are attacks which occurred during the previous turn process.

• Due to it's awesome performance, I strongly recommend Safari. Download it from here.
• Stuck with Internet Explorer? Then I recommend you install the Google Chrome Frame.

• This is an BETA version, so please be aware of the following:
• I have a day job, so problems might not get sorted straight away.
• The focus is currently on the game logic, balance and fun factor as they are hardest to get right. UPDATE: It's fun, hurray!
• I've spent a little time on attaching a UI, not on making it or the experience awesome. UPDATE: I'm now trying to make the experience better, documentation also.
• I need people who do have the time to help and won't quickly drop out.
